The Technical Supervisor Car Inspection - Japanese Speaker role is responsible for overseeing used vehicle inspections and ensuring compliance with international standards and company guidelines. Based in Bangkok, the position provides technical guidance to inspection staff, coordinates with overseas partners, and communicates inspection findings in Japanese and Thai or English.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage inspection processes for used vehicles
Ensure all inspections meet international standards and company guidelines
Coordinate with internal teams, overseas partners, and Japanese-speaking stakeholders
Review inspection reports to ensure accuracy and maintain quality control
Provide technical guidance and support to vehicle inspection staff
Communicate inspection results and technical details in Japanese and Thai or English
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues concerning vehicle condition and inspection
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Engineering or a related field
Fluent Japanese language skills, with JLPT N2 or above preferred
Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle inspection
Experience in vehicle inspection, automotive services, or a related field
Willingness and ability to participate in approximately six months of overseas training in Japan
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment
Experience in the used vehicle business or international inspection will be an advantage
