The Store Development Staff - Japanese Speaker role plays a key part in supporting new store openings and retail expansion projects in Thailand. This onsite position combines location research, commercial coordination, store setup, and business planning while working with internal departments, external partners, management, and overseas teams.
Responsibilities
Support new store openings and retail expansion projects in Thailand
Research and survey potential locations for new stores, including shopping malls and commercial areas
Analyse target customers, market potential, competitors, and sales opportunities for each prospective location
Coordinate with shopping malls, landlords, suppliers, and business partners regarding new store projects
Support discussions regarding rental conditions, lease agreements, and other store development documentation
Coordinate store layouts, displays, setup activities, and preparations for new store openings
Support sales forecasting, store performance analysis, and business planning
Coordinate with internal departments and external partners throughout each store development project
Prepare reports, presentations, and business documents for management
Communicate and coordinate with Japanese-speaking management and overseas teams
Support existing stores with promotional and business development activities when required
Requirements
Experience in the retail industry is highly preferred
Background in retail operations, store development, store planning, business development, leasing, store expansion, or coordination with commercial properties or shopping malls will be considered
Experience supporting new store openings, store relocations, shopping mall coordination, store layouts, or location research will be an advantage
Japanese communication skills at JLPT N2 to N1 level or equivalent are highly preferred
Good English communication skills
Strong coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
A driving licence will be an advantage
Benefits
Monthly salary of THB 80,000–100,000, negotiable based on experience
