The Senior Interpreter role plays a key part in supporting clear communication between Japanese manufacturing leaders and Thai team members within the Manufacturing Department. This role covers interpretation for meetings and on-site activities, as well as translation of documents related to manufacturing, quality, and sales.
Responsibilities
Deliver Japanese–Thai interpretation between Japanese manufacturing leaders and Thai team members
Interpret during meetings, discussions, and on-site activities related to manufacturing operations
Translate emails, reports, and various types of documentation
Support translation of materials connected to manufacturing, quality, and sales
Provide interpretation in production reviews, quality sessions, improvement discussions, and other manufacturing-related meetings
Offer interpretation and translation support for meetings or topics requested by senior management or the Sales Department when necessary
Requirements
Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or above
Experience as an interpreter in a Japanese manufacturing environment
Strong Japanese–Thai interpretation and translation skills, both spoken and written
Good understanding of or interest in Japanese culture and manufacturing operations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
Proactive and service-minded attitude
Available to work Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays, 8:00–17:00
