The Secretary, Administration and Human Resources role supports executive coordination, general administration, secretarial duties, and basic HR operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is a great fit for a highly organised professional who can communicate effectively in Thai, Japanese, and English while working closely with senior management and cross-country stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Handle general secretarial, administrative, and HR-related duties
Provide comprehensive administrative support to executives, including schedule management, document preparation, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
Provide administrative support to the Managing Director during visits to Thailand from Japan
Assist in planning and executing company events and management-level meetings
Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and prepare necessary documentation
Act as an interpreter between Japanese and Thai for internal and external communication
Attend secretary meetings twice per year
Accompany the Managing Director on client visits and provide interpretation and translation support as required
Lead special assignments or cross-departmental projects as delegated by management
Propose improvement plans and specific countermeasures to support decision-making and management control
Approach tasks with a risk management perspective
Communicate and coordinate with secretaries based in other countries
Support basic HR functions, including salary processing and related administrative tasks
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Japanese, English, or a related field
Holds JLPT N2 certificate or above
More than 8 years of experience in secretarial, administration, or HR functions in a manufacturing business will be an advantage
Professional secretarial style with a service-minded approach
Familiarity with Japanese culture and business planning support
Ability to provide advice directly to top management level
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to understand and align with executive-level perspectives
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively
Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal, in Thai, Japanese, and English
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Excel
Must have own car and driving licence, with the ability to drive
Able to travel to work in Navanakorn, Pathum Thani
Availability to work Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
