Position: Sales Engineer 

Overview

This role is responsible for expanding into new markets and product lines, particularly in battery and energy solutions. The candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, and work collaboratively as a proactive team member.


Key Responsibilities

  • Present and sell Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to corporate clients such as industrial plants, energy projects, and data centers

  • Analyze customer requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to design appropriate technical solutions

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing

  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and Terms of Reference (TOR)

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Project, Procurement)

  • Stay updated on renewable energy trends (Solar + Storage, emerging technologies)

  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients


Skills

  • Knowledge of renewable energy and energy storage market

  • Understanding of:

    • Energy Arbitrage

    • Peak Shaving

    • Demand Charge Reduction 

  • Ability to read Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

  • Strong business understanding and value-based selling skills

    Self-motivated and result-driven

  • Ability to work with technical teams and handle long sales cycles 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field

  • 2–5 years of sales experience

  • Experience in Solar, EV Charging, or BESS is preferred

  • Knowledge of Load profiles, Peak demand, and TOU tariff

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills

  • Good English (especially technical writing)

  • Valid driver’s license and able to travel
