The Quality Control Supervisor role plays an important part in maintaining product quality, inspection accuracy, and process compliance within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising QC activities, managing inspection resources, and ensuring incoming materials and finished products meet required standards.
Responsibilities
Manage the work area in line with 5S standards.
Manage and plan QC activities to meet turnaround time requirements and prevent non-conformity escapes for incoming materials and finished products.
Supervise QC staff to ensure inspection activities are completed on time and in line with quality requirements.
Manage and control measuring equipment to ensure availability and conformity at all times.
Ensure measurements are carried out in accordance with written instructions, specifications, and drawings.
Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager.
Requirements
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Knowledge and experience in precision machining.
Knowledge and experience with precision machining measurement.
At least 3 years’ experience in Quality Control.
Direct experience with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001.
Good systematic thinking and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach.
Able to communicate in English for work-related matters.
Ability to work collaboratively with individuals across the organisation in a team environment.
Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
