Responsibilities
Manage all receiving and inspection activities.
Improvement work in process operation.
Ensure all incoming materials comply with engineering specifications, customer requirements and automotive standards.
Establish and maintain inspection procedures aligned with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements.
Oversee inspection methods including visual, dimensional, functional testing and use of measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives through audits, performance reviews, and corrective actions (8D, CAPA).
Manage non-conforming parts (NG) and ensure proper segregation, disposition and documentation.
Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement improvement plans to reduce defects and variation.
Ensure traceability of parts and compliance with FIFO, batch control and lot tracking systems.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering or any related field.
Age 35 year or above with good personality, maturity and positive attitude,
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or automotive parts industry.
Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, Core Tools – APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
Experience with supplier quality management, audits, and development.
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
