The Production Manager role leads plastic injection moulding operations to achieve production, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets. The position plays a key part in managing production teams, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous improvements across manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Manage overall plastic injection moulding production to achieve production targets
Control production output, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
Manage production personnel, including supervisors, leaders, and operators
Resolve production issues involving injection machines, moulds, materials, and process conditions
Improve overall equipment effectiveness, cycle time, scrap levels, downtime, and production efficiency through continuous improvement
Plan and monitor daily production activities to ensure alignment with production schedules
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve production issues
Ensure production operations comply with safety, quality, and 5S standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
At least 8 years of manufacturing experience, including strong experience in plastic injection moulding
Experience as a production manager, section manager, or production supervisor
Strong knowledge of plastic injection processes, machines, moulds, materials, and troubleshooting
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills
Good English communication skills
