The Production Coordinator role plays a key part in keeping garment and apparel production activities on schedule and aligned with quality requirements. The position coordinates with manufacturing factories, inspection teams, and Japanese-speaking stakeholders throughout the development, production, and delivery process.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with manufacturing factories to ensure a smooth production flow
Manage and monitor production schedules, timelines, and delivery commitments
Track development progress, including sample production and approvals
Inspect and verify fabrics and materials used in production
Work closely with inspection teams to ensure product quality standards are met
Communicate and collaborate with overseas stakeholders and business partners
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Responsible and self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership of tasks
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent multitasking and organisational skills
Experience in garment or apparel production
Japanese language skills
Practical experience using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Experience in OEM manufacturing, particularly within the apparel industry
