The Manufacturing Area Manager role leads high-volume manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people development targets. This onsite position combines operational planning, team leadership, performance management, and continuous improvement to support efficient production and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage manufacturing operations to achieve business targets in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people development (SQCDM)
Develop and execute operational plans aligned with company objectives
Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality
Manage and develop managers, engineers, supervisors, and production teams to achieve operational excellence
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production planning, quality, logistics, and engineering, to support smooth operations
Monitor key manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report performance to senior management
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for operational issues
Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and manufacturing best practices
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
At least 10 years of manufacturing management experience, preferably within automotive manufacturing
Strong background in machining and high-volume production environments
Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams
Good command of English, with a TOEIC score of 600
