The Maintenance Manager role is responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of production machinery within a global automotive manufacturing environment. Based in Amata City, Chonburi, the position leads maintenance planning, team development, cost control, and continuous improvement to minimise downtime and support efficient production operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programmes to maximise equipment uptime and minimise production disruptions

  • Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians and specialists, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and technical excellence

  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of labour, parts, equipment, and other resources

  • Monitor equipment performance and implement upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency, productivity, and safety

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines

  • Oversee spare parts and maintenance supply inventories, maintaining adequate stock levels while controlling carrying costs

  • Drive continuous improvement through lean principles, root cause analysis, and other problem-solving methodologies

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities, resolve issues, and support seamless operations

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and cost analyses, and prepare regular management reports on key metrics and trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, preferably with a GPA of 2.80 or above

  • More than 10 years of maintenance management experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry

  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, maintenance techniques, manufacturing processes, and equipment used in automotive production

  • Proven leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities

  • Good command of English

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
