The LEAN Assistant Manager role leads LEAN manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities within a manufacturing environment. Based in Ban Bueng, Chonburi, the position analyses work processes, implements improvement tools, develops employee capabilities, and works with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Lead and support LEAN manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities
Analyse work processes and implement improvements to production efficiency
Apply LEAN tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Total Productive Maintenance, and Six Sigma
Identify the root causes of operational problems and drive effective solutions
Conduct training sessions on LEAN and Continuous Improvement concepts for employees
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve operations
Prepare reports and track the results of improvement activities
Support compliance with quality and safety management systems, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in LEAN manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Kaizen
Strong knowledge of LEAN tools and problem-solving methods
Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage
Good analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Leadership mindset with strong decision-making ability
Proactive approach with the ability to implement improvements independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Good command of English
