The Lawyer role is a corporate legal position based around Chatuchak, Bangkok, supporting a wide range of legal, compliance, commercial, financing, intellectual property, and corporate governance matters. This role offers the opportunity to work across core business activities, including agreements, restructuring, company law compliance, and legal support for group-level operations.
Responsibilities
Handle legal, lawyer, and compliance-related tasks across core business activities
Support mergers and acquisitions, establishment of new entities, divestments, IPO processes, and organisational restructuring activities
Draft and review commercial agreements, R&D agreements, and legal documents related to business operations
Manage legal matters related to financing arrangements, including intercompany loans, bonds, and external financing from financial institutions
Oversee intellectual property registration and support the commercialisation of intellectual property within the core business
Provide legal support on corporate matters, company law compliance, powers of attorney, AGM, and EGM-related activities
Handle legal disputes related to core business activities and perform other tasks assigned by the manager
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law
More than 8 years of experience in legal or lawyer-related work
Experience reviewing agreements and contracts fully in English
Ability to use English for reviewing legal documents and providing legal consultation
Ability to communicate in English with overseas management
TOEIC score of 900 or above is an advantage
Computer literacy, including MS Office and Excel
Able to travel to work around the Chatuchak area, Bangkok
