The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role works closely with Business Unit (BU) leaders to support organisational performance and employee well-being. The position translates business requirements into practical HR solutions while ensuring alignment with corporate policies, operational standards, and broader business objectives.
Responsibilities
Partner with BU leaders to understand workforce requirements, provide HR recommendations, and support decision-making across people-related matters
Act as the main point of contact between the BU and corporate HR teams, ensuring that HR policies, procedures, and operational practices are communicated and implemented effectively
Monitor employee well-being and the working environment to support a positive employee experience
Coordinate with HR Operations regarding payroll, incentives, budget adjustments, and headcount alignment, overseeing these activities and supporting accuracy within the BU
Provide guidance on HR policy interpretation and support compliance within the BU
Participate in workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and organisational changes that support business objectives
Gather BU requirements relating to recruitment, development, and performance management, and collaborate with the relevant HR functions on implementation
Support performance review cycles, talent discussions, and employee engagement activities
Identify HR-related issues within the BU and recommend practical and strategic solutions
Prepare and analyse HR reports to provide insights for management decision-making
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development, or a related field
7–10 years or more of experience in an HR Business Partner or related HR position
Strong understanding of HR operations, including payroll coordination, incentives, workforce planning, and policy implementation
Experience working with multiple stakeholders, particularly BU leaders or department heads
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and partner with management
Ability to translate business requirements into HR actions and solutions
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to compile HR reports and provide meaningful insights
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Human Resources Information System (HRIS) platforms will be an advantage
Good command of English and Thai
