The Head of Accounting and Finance Group role leads the development and execution of accounting and financial strategies aligned with the organisation’s logistics business goals. The position oversees financial operations, planning, compliance, and transformation initiatives while providing strategic insights to support logistics efficiency, profitability, and expansion.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement accounting and financial strategies aligned with the company’s logistics business goals
Provide financial insights to support decision-making in supply chain optimisation, warehousing, and transportation operations
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with a focus on logistics efficiency and profitability
Oversee accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and logistics-related financial policies
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to support logistics expansion projects
Provide strategic recommendations on pricing models, freight cost allocation, and contract negotiations with logistics partners
Support digital transformation initiatives involving Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Requirements
10 to 15 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including at least 5 years in a senior management role leading large-scale teams
Proven experience managing and leading large, multifunctional accounting and finance teams, including coaching, performance management, and succession planning
A strong background in the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry is highly desirable
Demonstrated experience overseeing financial operations across multiple entities or group companies, such as more than 20 legal entities, within complex structures
Solid experience in corporate audits, internal control frameworks, and regulatory compliance, including coordination with external auditors and audit committees
Proven experience managing complex financial environments, including intercompany transactions, consolidation, transfer pricing, and multi-country operations
Strong expertise in financial consolidation, group reporting, and International Financial Reporting Standards and Thai Financial Reporting Standards compliance
Proven track record in strategic financial planning and execution
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable strategies
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior management and cross-functional teams
Experience managing highly complex organisational structures and large-scale transformation projects, such as ERP implementation and finance transformation
Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics-related financial tools, including SAP, Oracle, TMS, and WMS
Fluency in written and spoken English and Thai
