The Global Chief Operating Officer (COO) role will lead global operations for a fast-growing IT company from Bangkok in a hybrid work arrangement. This role is ideal for a senior business leader who can use Japanese and English in a business context while scaling Customer Success and Business Development functions, driving global expansion, and taking ownership of operational excellence across international teams.
Responsibilities
Lead and scale global operations across Customer Success and Business Development functions
Build, manage, and develop a high-performing global team
Define and execute strategies to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth
Oversee customer onboarding and implementation projects globally
Develop and improve training systems, tools, and support frameworks for distributors and partners
Formulate and execute global expansion strategies based on market research and competitive analysis
Drive international sales, marketing, revenue growth, strategic partnerships, organisational capability, and P&L ownership for global business operations
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior leadership role, such as Chief Operating Officer, Head of Business, or a similar position
Background in SaaS, B2B technology, or platform business
Experience in global expansion and managing cross-border teams
Strong understanding of Customer Success and Business Development
Strategic thinker with strong execution capability
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent Japanese language skills at business level or above, with strong English communication skills
