The Finance Manager role takes ownership of the company’s finance and accounting activities, covering profit and loss management, accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, budgeting, cost control, and financial planning. Working onsite, the position partners closely with the general manager, operational teams, and overseas stakeholders to provide financial insights that support business growth and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities
Oversee the company’s overall finance and accounting operations
Manage and analyse profit and loss performance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment processes, and financial controls
Manage cash flow and liquidity to support business operations
Monitor costs and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and financial improvement
Prepare financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making
Partner with commercial and operational teams on costing and financial planning
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
Coordinate with regional and overseas stakeholders on finance-related matters
Support finance projects and continuous process improvements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Solid experience in finance and/or accounting, preferably at senior, assistant manager, or manager level
Strong hands-on knowledge of profit and loss management, accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, budgeting, and financial controls
Background in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or a related industry would be an advantage
Good command of English for communication with international stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business-partnering skills
Hands-on and flexible approach with the ability to manage a broad scope of responsibilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international business environment
