The Business Consultant - Japanese Speaker role plays a key part in bridging communication and understanding between the firm and its Japanese-speaking clients. Working in a hybrid arrangement, the position combines Japanese language proficiency, consulting expertise, and knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies to understand client needs and provide tailored advice.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored investment advice
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to support client recommendations and strategies
Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop comprehensive investment proposals and presentations
Monitor and assess financial performance and market trends, providing proactive insights to clients
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and high-quality service delivery
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Fluency in spoken and written Japanese, with JLPT N1 certification required
Proven experience in investment consulting, financial advisory, or a related field
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building trust and rapport
Relevant certifications, such as CFA or CPA, will be an advantage
