The Assistant Sales Manager role plays a key part in leading the sales team, developing market opportunities, and delivering factory automation solutions to customers. Based in Bangkok near a BTS station, with travel to client sites as required, the position combines team leadership, technical sales, key account management, and project coordination.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and support sales engineers in achieving team sales targets
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market opportunities
Manage assigned projects and key customer accounts from the proposal stage through to project handover
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and other stakeholders
Prepare and review proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial offers
Coordinate with Engineering, Software, Installation, Procurement, and other departments to deliver customer solutions
Monitor sales pipelines, forecasts, and project progress, and provide regular updates to management
Participate in customer meetings, site visits, exhibitions, and industry events
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any field
Experience in industrial automation, ASRS, warehouse automation, logistics solutions, or material handling systems
At least 4 years of sales experience, preferably in business-to-business sales, industrial products, machinery, automation, logistics, warehouse automation, or material handling
Experience leading or supervising a sales team
Strong skills in sales, negotiation, presentations, customer management, and proposal preparation
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and achieve sales targets
Good communication skills in Thai and English
Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of technical sales, project costing, contract review, or CAD and layout drawings will be an advantage
