The Application CNC Engineer role focuses on installing, commissioning, and integrating CNC machine measurement and monitoring systems at customer sites. Based in Bangkok, this onsite position combines CNC programming, machine upgrades, technical troubleshooting, and customer support across mechanical, electrical, control, and software areas.
Responsibilities
Install and commission CNC machine measurement and monitoring systems
Perform machine retrofit, upgrade, and integration projects at customer sites
Configure and troubleshoot CNC controls, programmable logic controller interfaces, and machine parameters
Support CNC programming, including G-code, M-code, and macro functions
Install and integrate probes, tool setters, sensors, and monitoring devices
Provide technical troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, control, and software issues
Deliver customer training, technical support, and project documentation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with CNC machining centres and/or turning centres
Experience in machine commissioning, retrofit, maintenance, service, or application engineering will be an advantage
Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations and troubleshooting
Benefits
