The Process Analysis role is a great opportunity for a technical professional to support precious metal refining, material analysis, and quality verification in a jewellery manufacturing environment. This role focuses on chemical treatment, analytical testing, and process improvement to ensure material quality and efficient reprocessing operations.
Responsibilities
Perform acid treatment processes for refining precious metals
Handle chemicals safely and follow strict safety protocols
Monitor chemical reactions and ensure compliance with environmental standards
Support continuous improvement in chemical treatment procedures
Conduct material analysis of jewellery scrap and refined metals
Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as ICP and XRF
Record, report, and prepare documentation to verify material quality and support quality standards
Collaborate with production teams to optimise reprocessing efficiency
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
More than 3 years of analysis experience in recycling, refining, or plating materials such as metal, gold, or silver
Knowledge and hands-on experience with ICP or XRF equipment is preferred
Strong knowledge of analysis for raw material manufacturing and processing
Experience in plating company operations is an advantage
Good English communication skills for internal communication and documentation
Japanese language proficiency is an advantage
