Job Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and responsible Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting and finance functions of our manufacturing business. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial management, statutory compliance, reporting, and team supervision, working closely with management, auditors, and external authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all accounting and finance functions, including monthly closing, AR, AP, cash flow, taxation, reporting, and forecasting.
Execute and coordinate accounting closing activities to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
Prepare month-end reports, financial analysis, and account reconciliations.
Monitor daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Prepare annual budgets and monthly P/L forecasts.
Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate closely with auditors and external parties.
Liaise with the Revenue Department on taxation matters and compliance issues.
Ensure effective tax control and preparation of consolidated packages.
Train, supervise, and coach team members on company accounting procedures and policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPD certification is preferred.
Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, overseeing the full accounting and finance function.
Strong background in a manufacturing company, preferably within a Japanese manufacturing environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with solid knowledge of accounting systems; SAP experience is highly desirable.
Intermediate in English, both written and spoken.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Dynamic, highly responsible, and deadline-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Preference for candidates who are motivated to work in a Japanese company culture.
