Our business partner is Financial Services Company. We are looking for Translator (Contracts).
Responsibilities:
- Read through original material and rewrite it in Thai, ensuring that the source text is retained. (Original material will include web copy, in app text, legal agreements, plus other marketing documents.)
- Use translation memory software to ensure consistency within documents and help efficiency.
- Use specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find closest equivalents for technical terminology, researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation.
- Liaise with team to clarify any unclear points.
- Proofread and edit final translated versions.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and a native Thai speaker.
- Ability to translate approx. 2,000-3,000 words per day.
- Extensive experience translating from English to Thai.
- Experience of translating financial or fund management documentation would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate a good understanding and in-depth knowledge of language and Thai cultures to aid localization.
- Excellent writing skills and command of grammar.
- Attention to detail combined with a meticulous eye for detail and typo-errors.
- Ability to use initiative in a commercial context.
- Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools plus other technical translation software.
Location: Thonglor
Working hour: 09.00-17.00
