Our client is a leading of the large diesel engine markets in marine and power station applications and is one of the world leading Turbomachinery suppliers.
JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the development and achievement of Order intake goals, plans and activities of the related BU products/services in assigned territory
Responsibilities:
- Managers and coordinators customer care and service business for the entire machine population in one or more countries
- Responsible to support the growth strategies within the region (budget quotations, order intake, revenue/casing, customer visits), follow up on open payments
- Win new customers with a systematic approach / and get understanding and agreement on general terms and conditions
- Registration, acceptance of MDT products with all customers /end users so that each product gets the best chance in the market
- Builds customers relationships from prospecting to closing / foster relationship with agents
- Negotiate/approve contracts and service agreements
- Develop and implements marketing plans, oversees the sales budget
- Regional coordination between customers/agents and headquarters
- Collect & communicate market intelligence / competitor’s activities, project opportunities
- Quarterly Business Review / Reporting in a structured and professional manner
- Contact for technical queries in the event of accidents and repairs
- Bid management for local projects (e.g. repair/FS projects)
- Creates and organizes quotations, finds technical and commercial solutions
- Independent customer negotiations (in line with sales guidelines and regulations)
Building international contacts and regular travel - Responsible for outcome of the country area for which responsibility is taken without conversions
- Responsibility for employees with specific expertise
- Mission-critical customer contacts (Key Accounts)
Qualifications:
- Sales experience in an international environment with 5 to 10 years of related experience, preferably in the heavy equipment manufacturing / machines
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical background and commercial background preferably MBA
- Fluency in Business English
- SAP or others ERP system
- Results driven, ability to develop and retain key business, consultant and customer relationships
