The Warehouse & Transportation Manager role leads daily warehouse and transportation operations at the Free Zone, Suvarnabhumi Airport. The position combines operational leadership, workforce management, cost control, and continuous improvement to maintain efficient logistics operations and high service quality.
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise daily warehouse and transportation operations
Oversee inbound, outbound, and storage activities to maintain operational efficiency and accuracy
Develop transportation plans, manage delivery schedules, and allocate workforce and operational resources in line with business objectives
Monitor inventory accuracy, lead stock count activities, analyse warehouse productivity, and implement process improvements
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and transportation team members
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, logistics regulations, Free Zone requirements, and customs-related processes
Coordinate closely with customers, airlines, customs brokers, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders
Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions to maintain service quality
Prepare operational reports, key performance indicator analysis, and recommendations for continuous improvement
Control operational costs while maintaining service excellence
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse and transportation operations
At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of warehouse management, transportation management, and inventory control
Experience in freight forwarding, logistics services, or the air cargo industry
Proven leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Experience working for a freight forwarding company, logistics service provider, airline cargo operation, warehouse operation, or transportation management business
Experience managing large operational teams
Intermediate or higher English communication skills
Knowledge of Free Zone and customs-related processes will be an advantage
