The Software Engineer - Chinese Speaker role offers an opportunity to develop manufacturing systems that support smart factory, Industry 4.0, and digital transformation initiatives. The position combines full-stack software development with the implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Shop Floor Control System (SFCS) applications in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain MES and SFCS applications used in manufacturing operations
Design, build, and support end-to-end software solutions for smart factory and Industry 4.0 initiatives
Drive the implementation and deployment of new manufacturing system functionalities in support of the company’s digital transformation roadmap
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective software solutions
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Proficiency in Chinese for business and technical communication
Solid software development experience using C# and .NET Framework or .NET Core
Strong experience developing web applications and Web APIs
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, query development, and performance optimisation
Familiarity with Vue.js or other modern front-end frameworks
Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and DevOps practices
Experience with microservices architecture will be a significant advantage
Mobile application development experience will be valuable
Previous involvement in MES implementation or development within the electronics manufacturing industry is highly regarded
