The Sales - Japanese Speaker role offers an opportunity to manage customer accounts and develop new business within the semiconductor industry. The position covers quotations, sales planning, order and delivery coordination, and communication with the Japan headquarters, factories, and overseas branches.
Responsibilities
Prepare quotations for new requirements, cost simulations, and price-related requests
Monitor claims and complaints, coordinating with the relevant departments to resolve issues
Analyse customer forecast data, ensure information is accurate, enter it into the company system, and report to the Manager
Prepare monthly and annual sales plans based on customer forecasts and market information, and monitor orders to achieve sales targets
Manage customer orders to support on-time delivery and negotiate appropriate lead times, schedules, and forecasts to prevent production interruptions
Coordinate in English with the Japan headquarters, factories, and overseas branches to obtain support for customer requirements
Prepare and manage customer-related documentation
Identify new customers and maintain existing accounts to increase sales and profit
Maintain and develop customer relationships to support customer satisfaction
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any field
At least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service
Fluent English communication skills, with a TOEIC score of 500 or above preferred
Business-level Japanese language skills, equivalent to JLPT N2 or above
Experience in B2B sales, industrial products, or the semiconductor business will be an advantage
Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power Apps
Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team
Adaptable, highly motivated, and positive approach to work
Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle
