The Quality Control (QC) role is responsible for conducting inspections, maintaining quality records, and supporting the resolution of production-line abnormalities within an automotive manufacturing environment. Based in Rayong, the position works closely with Quality Engineering (QE) and production teams to manage nonconforming products, corrective actions, and customer complaint investigations.
Responsibilities
Manage attendance records for quality inspection staff across assigned areas
Conduct quality inspections according to production plans and assigned tasks
Prepare, complete, and verify inspection records and related documents for the assigned area
Coordinate with and assist QE in resolving abnormalities on the production line
Confirm handovers between day and night shifts and follow up on the implementation of handover requirements
Monitor and verify QC records, including the QC Ledger, and follow up on corrective actions to ensure effective results
Store and manage workplace documents and support 6S management activities
Participate in handling nonconforming products and follow up on corrective actions to ensure compliance with defined guidelines
Assist with customer complaint investigations and monitor and verify the outcomes of corrective actions
Requirements
Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
At least three years of hands-on quality control experience
Knowledge of QC Seven Tools and 5M1E principles
Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings
Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier callipers, micrometers, and height gauges
Strong communication and coordination skills
Strong sense of responsibility, collaborative mindset, and commitment to self-development
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Good command of Chinese across listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with the ability to use the language effectively in the workplace
