The Project & Sales Engineer role combines project execution, technical coordination, and business development for mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning services. The position offers an opportunity to manage projects through to handover, develop client relationships across major industrial sectors, and contribute to the establishment and growth of the company’s Thailand operations.
Responsibilities
Manage and support mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning projects from planning through to handover
Coordinate project schedules, workforce requirements, equipment, mobilisation, site activities, and technical documentation
Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with clients across the oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, power, and industrial sectors
Conduct client visits and technical presentations, and support technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and quotation follow-ups
Support vendor registration, market development, and sales pipeline management
Assist with the establishment and growth of the Thailand operations, including basic coordination of information technology, corporate materials, vendors, and office-related activities
Ensure project execution complies with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements, quality standards, and client requirements
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
At least 3–5 years of experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, or heavy industrial projects
Knowledge of mechanical completion and pre-commissioning activities
Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), isometric drawings, and technical specifications
Good Thai communication skills and working-level English proficiency
Sales or tendering experience and an established industry network would be advantageous
Valid Thai driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites
