Position Summary
Responsible for supervising daily production operations, ensuring efficient mixing and blending processes, maintaining product quality, safety, and productivity standards. The role will lead a small team of operators and coordinate closely with Quality, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to support smooth manufacturing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily production activities to ensure production targets, schedules, and quality requirements are achieved.
Lead, coach, and manage a small team of production operators, including training and performance monitoring.
Ensure accurate weighing, dispensing, mixing, and batching of raw materials according to approved formulas and procedures.
Monitor production processes and ensure all manufacturing activities comply with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
Coordinate with Warehouse and Planning teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
Verify production documentation, batch records, and operational reports for accuracy and completeness.
Investigate production issues, deviations, and non-conformities, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Monitor productivity, material utilization, waste reduction, and process efficiency to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and organization of the production area in accordance with company standards.
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to support smooth operations and continuous production improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biotechnology, or related fields.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations within Food, Flavor & Fragrance, Chemical, Cosmetic, or FMCG industries.
At least 1-2 years of experience in a Production Supervisor or Team Leader position.
Experience supervising production operators in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with mixing, blending, batching, formulation, or ingredient preparation processes.
Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills.
Good understanding of GMP, ISO, HACCP, safety regulations, and quality management systems.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Good command of English for communication, reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic production reporting systems.
