The Production Injection Assistant Manager role offers a great opportunity to lead plastic injection moulding operations within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on daily production management, process improvement, team leadership, and ensuring targets for quality, output, cost, and delivery are achieved.
Responsibilities
Manage daily injection moulding operations to meet quality, output, cost, and delivery targets
Plan and control production schedules to align with customer demand and deadlines
Lead production teams, including supervisors, technicians, and operators, to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Work with the Quality team to ensure products meet standards and support effective issue resolution
Review production performance and take action to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
Adjust machine settings, processes, and mould setups to improve productivity and reduce defects
Coordinate with Engineering and Tooling teams to ensure machines and moulds are ready for production
Support team development, ensure safety compliance, and report performance with clear improvement plans
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
5 to 8 years of experience in plastic injection moulding, with leadership or supervisory exposure
Strong knowledge of injection processes, machines, materials, and basic mould troubleshooting
Good analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems and improve production performance using data
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good command of English
