The Production Control General Manager - Surface Technology role is a senior leadership position overseeing production planning, scheduling, and control for surface treatment operations in Ayutthaya. This role is ideal for an experienced manufacturing professional with strong expertise in plating, coating, painting or related surface technology processes, and the ability to drive efficiency, quality compliance, cost control and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead production planning, scheduling and control activities for surface treatment operations
Oversee surface technology processes such as electroplating, PVD, CVD, anodising, powder coating and painting
Manage raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods inventory levels to support stable production
Ensure production processes meet quality standards, including ISO, IATF and customer-specific requirements
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to reduce defects and improve production yield
Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, particularly in relation to chemical handling and surface treatment operations
Monitor production costs, optimise capacity utilisation and implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related field
10–15 years or more of experience in production planning, production control or manufacturing operations
Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role
Experience in surface technology, such as plating, coating, painting or related processes
Strong knowledge of surface treatment processes
Expertise in production planning tools, including ERP or MRP systems
Strong leadership, team management, analytical and problem-solving skills
