The Manufacturing Supervisor role is a great opportunity for a candidate with experience in automotive manufacturing, process improvement, and quality management. Based in Rayong, this role focuses on improving manufacturing workflows, maintaining quality standards, supporting production systems, and ensuring compliance with ISO and IATF requirements.
Responsibilities
Analyse manufacturing workflows to increase yield, minimise waste, and decrease cycle times
Design product testing methods, monitor process capabilities, and enforce quality standards to reduce defect rates
Identify root causes of equipment or product defects and implement corrective actions
Design, configure, and upgrade production systems, equipment, standard operating procedures, factory layouts, production lines, and workstations
Create, maintain, update, and deploy SOPs, quality manuals, and work instructions in alignment with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and train production personnel on new processes
Work with supply chain, design, and management teams to ensure new products transition smoothly into mass production, while supporting new machinery installation, testing, integration, and routine maintenance
Interpret operational data using statistical process control, oversee AIAG core tools, lead internal quality audits, coordinate external audits, investigate defects and customer complaints, and monitor incoming material quality and supplier performance
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in automotive manufacturing
In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and ERP systems
Strong knowledge of automotive core tools, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, and SPC
Knowledge of ISO, IATF 16949, and document control
