The IT Support - Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) role plays an important part in maintaining stable system operations within a factory environment. This position provides day-to-day MES application support, investigates technical issues, and collaborates with internal technology teams and external vendors to minimise disruption to manufacturing activities.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for MES applications used in manufacturing operations
Identify system issues, analyse root causes, and implement appropriate solutions
Work closely with Infrastructure, Database, and Application teams, and liaise with external vendors when necessary
Maintain system stability and ensure the timely resolution of user-reported issues
Handle other assignments as delegated by the supervisor
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
At least two years of experience in IT support or system administration, preferably within a manufacturing or electronics environment
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers and system-level commands
Knowledge of .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar technologies
Familiarity with manufacturing-related systems, including Manufacturing Execution Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning, or Robotic Process Automation
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Good English communication skills
