The Import & Export Manager - Japanese Speaker role leads import and export operations, client account management, and team development. Working closely with Japanese-speaking management and regional headquarters, this position plays a key part in supporting business operations and future expansion.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain relationships with customers acquired by the sales team
Lead, supervise, and develop Import and Export team members
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
Prepare reports and communicate directly with Japanese-speaking senior management and regional headquarters
Support and potentially expand involvement in domestic transportation and warehouse operations
Requirements
At least five years of experience in the logistics industry
Proven management or leadership experience
Business-level Japanese proficiency or above
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Experience in import and export operations and customs documentation
