The Factory Manager role focuses on leading press and stamping operations within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an experienced manufacturing leader with strong expertise in production efficiency, quality standards, operational improvement, and large team management.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage press and stamping operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with automotive standards
Develop production schedules, allocate resources, and monitor KPIs to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
Implement ISO and IATF standards, oversee quality audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Supervise and mentor production teams, manage a workforce of 200 to 300 employees, and foster a culture of accountability
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve technical issues and optimise processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering
Extensive background in press and stamping operations within automotive manufacturing
Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing, including at least 5 years in senior management
Deep knowledge of stamping presses, die maintenance, and tooling
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and TPS systems
Strong English communication skills
Proven ability to lead large teams, manage under pressure, and deliver operational improvements
