The Engineering Supervisor role focuses on overseeing engineering operations to support manufacturing processes, machine performance, production efficiency, and engineering KPIs. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering professional with experience in PCBA processes, equipment troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination in a production environment.
Responsibilities
Control and monitor machine performance to achieve engineering KPIs and operational targets
Support machine setup activities in accordance with the production plan, including SMT, selective wave soldering, and related processes
Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and take corrective action to minimise downtime and maintain production continuity
Train and guide technicians to support production activities while ensuring compliance with internal teams, manage engineering documentation, and support KPI achievementTrain and guide technicians to support production activities while ensuring compliance with customer and company quality procedures
Monitor and control process yield through inspection systems such as SPI, AOI, and ICT to ensure product quality standards are met
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Electrical, Electronics, or a related field
2 to 5 years of experience in Process Engineering or Equipment Engineering in a related industry
Experience with PCBA processes, including SMT and through-hole technology
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and create troubleshooting reports
Ability to read and create CAD data or stencil designs
Knowledge of design is preferred
Knowledge of MES, ERP systems, or automation systems
