The Engineer - Chinese Speaker role provides field service support for complex equipment at customer facilities in Prachinburi. The position combines troubleshooting, equipment repair, installation support, preventive maintenance, and customer relationship management while working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve system performance.
Responsibilities
Perform field service activities involving the troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of highly complex equipment at customer facilities
Resolve equipment installation and upgrade issues
Coordinate equipment schedules to minimise system downtime
Build strong customer relationships, establish technical credibility, and engage with all levels of the customer’s technical organisation
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve system design and performance
Prepare field service reports on customer support activities and provide supporting functions with documentation on recurring problems
Document service and installation activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
Conduct regular preventive maintenance
Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
2 to 4 years of experience in field service or equipment maintenance, preferably within the semiconductor or printed circuit board industries
Candidates without previous experience may be considered for an entry-level position
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to understand customer needs
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Initiative and the ability to work independently
Ability to work overtime and travel at short notice
Fluency in spoken and written English
Fluency in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers
