The Electrical Manager role combines technical leadership, maintenance management, and project oversight to support safe and efficient electrical operations. Leading the electrical team, the successful candidate will manage maintenance activities, resolve technical issues, control costs, and contribute to continuous improvements in system reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all electrical engineering and maintenance activities
Ensure electrical systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently
Plan, organise, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance work
Lead, guide, and support the electrical team in daily operations
Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget
Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and suppliers as required
Ensure compliance with company policies, electrical standards, and safety regulations
Investigate electrical issues and implement corrective actions
Prepare maintenance reports, work schedules, and performance records
Control maintenance costs and manage spare parts and equipment requirements
Support continuous improvement activities to strengthen system reliability and efficiency
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, maintenance, or project management
Experience leading and supervising a team
Good knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards
Strong technical analysis and problem-solving abilities
Good planning and organisational skills
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software
Good spoken and written English is preferred
