The Electrical Automation Engineer role combines electrical design, automation engineering, technical consultation, and project coordination. The position supports industrial and warehouse automation projects from initial customer discussions and system design through installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
Responsibilities
Understand customer requirements and propose suitable automation solutions
Prepare equipment layouts, project specifications, technical proposals, and system documentation
Prepare quotations and coordinate project costs to support project execution
Review electrical, control system, and automation equipment specifications
Design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts based on project requirements
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding technical specifications, procurement, and delivery schedules
Manage project timelines and support project implementation from design through commissioning
Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites
Visit customers regularly to provide technical consultation, maintain strong relationships, and identify new business opportunities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical and automation systems
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, automation engineering, technical support, or system integration
Experience in a customer-facing technical support role is preferred
Experience designing electrical control systems and diagrams is highly preferred
Good command of English at business level
Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle
