The Design and Development role leads electrical engineering design activities for power transformer and control panel projects at the Bangpoo Industrial Estate in Samut Prakan. The position offers an opportunity to oversee technical design, tender preparation, equipment selection, and project coordination for data centre applications.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the Electrical Engineering Design Department for power transformer and control panel projects
Develop conceptual designs and prepare bills of quantities for power transformer and control panel bidding and tender activities
Review and apply medium-voltage 22 kV and low-voltage electrical system specifications, including main distribution boards and electrical distribution requirements
Evaluate, select, and inspect electrical equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
Provide technical consultation on power system design, transformers, and control panel installation projects
Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and contractors throughout the design, bidding, and implementation phases
Conduct site surveys and collect technical data to support project estimation, bill of quantities preparation, and proposal submissions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience in the design of transformers, switchboards, or electrical equipment
Ability to use AutoCAD or related design software
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to visit the manufacturing site in Pathum Thani when required
