CNC Programmer

Create CNC programs from 3D models using computer software for Turning and Turn-Mill machines

Set up CNC machines independently using self-created programs or programs prepared by others

Issue CNC programs and provide clear setup instructions to operators for efficient machine setup

Select appropriate cutting tools based on material type and machining requirements, and program machines accordingly

Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure finished parts meet drawings and design specifications

Perform all job tasks in a safe, effective, and satisfactory manner

Communicate with supervisors regarding part irregularities, quality issues, machine malfunctions, or breakdowns during setup or production

Monitor and control machining cycle time to ensure it meets defined targets

Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working area

Properly use and maintain personal tools in accordance with company policies

Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors
 
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical field related to Machine Tooling, Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CNC machining and programming

Experience with 4-axis or multi-axis CNC machines will be an advantage

Ability to read and interpret job orders, technical drawings, and specifications

Proficient in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and related inspection tools
