The Assistant Restaurant Manager role plays a key part in overseeing daily restaurant operations and delivering a positive guest experience in Bangkok. The position combines team leadership, customer service, sales performance, cost control, and operational planning to support service quality and profitability.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure smooth coordination across all functions
Supervise, coach, and develop restaurant staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
Deliver excellent customer service by responding to guest enquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining high satisfaction levels
Drive sales performance and profitability through effective inventory control, cost management, and promotional activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards
Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and overall operations to maintain brand standards
Prepare operational reports, manage administrative tasks, and support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory planning
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant, hospitality, or food service operations
At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Good communication skills in Thai and English
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Basic financial and inventory management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and point-of-sale systems
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and shifts
