The Accounting Officer role plays an important part in supporting daily and monthly accounting operations within the logistics and supply chain industry. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who can manage receivables, payables, tax documentation, and financial records accurately.
Responsibilities
Prepare and send freight quotations for Air, Sea, and Road shipments.
Coordinate with pricing, operations, overseas agents, and carriers to obtain competitive freight rates.
Support the Sales team in preparing proposals, customer presentations, and commercial documentation.
Follow up on quotations, customer inquiries, and shipment updates.
Maintain and update customer records, sales reports, and CRM data.
Assist in customer onboarding and documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of customer shipments.
Prepare sales reports, MIS, and business performance trackers.
Ensure timely communication with customers regarding shipment status and service updates.
Support the Sales team in achieving business targets through effective coordination and administrative support.
Maintain accurate records of quotations, contracts, and customer correspondence.
Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
At least 2 years of experience in accounting
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Intermediate level of English
