The Accounting & Finance Manager role oversees the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations, including financial closing, reporting, taxation, analysis, and regulatory compliance. Working onsite, the position leads the accounting team and provides financial guidance and analysis to support effective management decision-making.
Responsibilities
Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations
Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
Provide financial analysis, business performance reports, and explanations of financial results to support management decision-making
Oversee accounts receivable, payment processes, and collection follow-ups
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including accounting registrations, tax filings, and financial statement submissions
Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team to achieve operational excellence
Provide guidance to employees on company policies, accounting procedures, and regulatory requirements
Advise management on accounting, taxation, and financial matters
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
Valid CPD licence
At least 10 years of experience across the full spectrum of accounting and finance, including at least 5 years in a managerial position
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and tax regulations
Hands-on experience with corporate income tax, value-added tax, specific business tax, and related tax matters
Solid understanding of managerial accounting and financial analysis
Proven leadership and people management skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Good command of spoken and written English, with a TOEIC score of at least 500 preferred
Experience in construction, engineering, contracting, infrastructure, or project-based businesses would be a strong advantage
Familiarity with project costing, contract accounting, and financial management in project-based environments is highly preferred
